Cancellation Policy

Because we schedule appointments just for you, we request a 24-hour advance cancellation notice.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving proper notice, we miss the chance to fill that appointment time, and guests that are on  each stylist’s waiting list miss the chance to receive services. 

We understand that life happens and the salon appointment is not the first thought. Our new policy is not to punish those who truly understand the value that we all place on “time” nowadays:

Under the discretion of your stylist, last-minute resheduling and/or noshows will result in either the need of a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your next reservation (that will be credited to your appointment) or the need to re-evaluate if Whistle & Sway is the right salon fit for you. Your stylist will contact you if and when this situation is necessitated. 

Late Policy

Because we schedule according to the times suited to the services that we foresee you receiving, time is of the utmost importance. If you are going to be running late, we appreciate when you call to inform us. In the case that you are running behind, we may have to exercise the option of rescheduling your appointment or editing the service(s) that you are receiving to ensure that other salon guests are not affected.

Children

We love children! We love having them in to have a haircut as well! We respectfully request, however, that all efforts be made to have them not attend appointments with you. Whistle & Sway is a sanctuary for many to get away from the hustle-and-bustle of life. We understand that some situations are unavoidable. If there are any questions pertaining to your situation feel free to call and discuss it with our salon!

Returns/Refund policy

Deposits for extension services are refundable with 48-hour prior cancellation.

Deposits on wedding services are refundable with a 30 day prior cancellation.

If you desire a correction on any service performed in the salon feel free to contact us within a two week time frame. All redo’s will be scheduled like a normal appointment and will be performed at no cost to you. If you feel uncomfortable having the original stylist perform the correction simply let us know! We all work very closely together, and while the original stylist will share all products and techniques with your new stylist, you will be welcomed by the whole staff! We strive to make you happy!

We take great pride in our product recommendations! If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a take-home product, we will exchange or refund it within 30 days of purchase.
